    Our first donation: benches for Holy Trinity Nursery

    Brick's Foundation made its first donation to the autistic community: a Friendship Bench and a Sensory Bench for the Nursery at Holy Trinity CE Primary School in East Finchley, London, where Lucca went in 2017. The school also received the Brick's Foundation Award, and became the first Champion on our Champions Wall.

    Lucca absolutely loved Disneyland Paris. We presented the Brick's Foundation Award to Disneyland Paris for its exceptional commitment to embracing and empowering autistic people, and for staff who made Lucca feel welcomed, respected and valued.

    We presented the Brick's Foundation Award to The Speech Clinic Dubai, where Lucca was a client, and to its Founder, Mrs Sana Shareef, for opening doors of understanding, uplifting autistic voices and creating spaces where every mind can shine.

    We presented the Brick's Foundation Award to Merlin Entertainments for championing autism inclusion across its attractions. Merlin also gave a space for a memorial bench in Lucca's memory at the Gruffalo ride's accessible queue at Chessington World of Adventures.

    Brick's Foundation Award for Associação Metamorfose

    We presented the Brick's Foundation Award to Associação Metamorfose in Niterói, Brazil, which made a profound difference at the very beginning of Lucca's journey. In a deeply touching tribute, Metamorfose will name the auditorium of its new headquarters the Lucca Lacerda Tavares Auditorium.

    We presented the Brick's Foundation Award to GEMS Founders School, where Lucca studied, for opening doors of understanding, uplifting autistic voices and creating spaces where every mind can shine. The award was received by GEMS Founders School Dubai South, also on behalf of GEMS Founders Dubai, Al Mizhar and Al Barsha.

    Welcoming our Board of Trustees

    Brick's Foundation is proud to welcome its first Board of Trustees: Dr. Elisabetta Chiusano, Alexandre Filho, Dr. Guilherme H. Oliveira, Roberto Moura, Angus Milne and Richard Taylor, alongside our founder, Aloisio Tavares. Each of them is connected to Lucca. Together they bring experience in psychology, medicine, autism support, digital media, leadership and charity governance.
